Fund raising dinner at Blue Note Jazz Café and Restaurant
featuring Elie Ramleh
Elie Ramly, medical doctor, guitarist and singer-songwriter. Winner and featured artist in the Beirut Open Stage collective project, his single “The Cold” is to be released at the Music Hall, Beirut on the 30th of March 2014. In June 2012, Ramly has been the opening act for Australian-French singer Emilie Gassin’s Beirut Jam Sessions concert. Ramly regularly performs at random venues around town, including the iconic Blue Note Cafe. Taking its roots in blues and classic rock, Ramly’s sound now smoothly streams as indie folk. Resonating with guitar or ukulele, his melancholic voice will draw you into rapture in a blend of his own compositions and an energetic jam on acoustic covers of folk and blues classics.
