The event is open to the public and will be of particular interest to singers, actors, teachers, pastors, and anyone with high vocal demand.

World Voice Day is an international celebration of the beauty, art, and science of voice. Every year, the organizers of World Voice Day encourage volunteers around the globe to stage vocal events on April 16th, bringing the voices of the world together as one. Last year, 461 events took place in 51 countries. We are excited to step up to join the voices of the world.

The UVA Voice & Swallowing Clinic is part of the Department of Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery. Using the latest HD video technology, our team can visualize the vocal folds in great detail to identify any issues that the voice user may have. Vocal rehabilitation is provided by our specialty trained speech pathologists. Our team strives to provide for every patient the kind of care normally afforded only to well-known performers.
