Musical Pinnochio is based on the well-known book by Collodi. Director Nina Kleflin wrote a libretto that follows the original story, but gives it a contemporary edge. Heroes live in the realm of fairy tales, but they form their characters with an awareness of today, of everything that makes us happy and sad in modern society. Pinocchio, that wonderful wooden doll, is good, but light-hearted, quick-witted, but careless in his actions, driven by longing and enthusiasm for life. And various challenges await him in his adventures. But love, the greatest of all good forces, will deliver him and give him life. Performances are scheduled on the 18th and 19th May at 6pm at Youth Theatre Sarajevo.
