World Voice Day will be celebrated on Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Cvjetni trg, Zagreb, Croatia. This public health action is jointly organized by the City Office for Social Protection, Health, War Veterans and People with Disabilities of the City of Zagreb, The University Hospital Centre Zagreb, Refferal center for phoniatry , the Polyclinic for listening and speech rehabilitation SUVAG Zagreb, and the Croatian Logopedics Association.
As part of the campaign, a stand will be set up where information materials will be distributed with the aim of raising public awareness of the importance of early recognition of voice pathology as well as possible treatment options. Consultations with a ENT doctors – phoniatric and a speech and language pathologists will be provided. Citizens will be able to see what a phoniatric examination looks like, what various objective and subjective voice assessments look like, on the basis of which a diagnosis is made and recommendations for further treatment are given.
We invite all citizens to come, ask questions and share with experts all their doubts related to the voice. The voice is a reflection of our health, our inner state, our identity – LET’S EMPOWER AND TAKE A GOOD CARE OF OUR VOICE!
