The traveling exhibition, Icons in Transformation, has toured cathedrals and museums in both Europe and the United States. Over 150,000 people in the U.S. have viewed the stunning exhibit. All Saints Episcopal Church gratefully welcomes the acclaimed abstract expressionist artist Ludmila Pawlowska and an impressive collection of her artwork.

Ludmila Pawlowska offers a rare opportunity to see both her work and the path of her contemporary vision — derived from traditional Russian icons, their transformative power and painting techniques. Contemporary artworks and traditional Russian icons from Vassilevsky Monastery fill All Saints sanctuary, narthex, chapel, undercroft, and grounds. Icons in Transformation presents the mystery and spiritual power of the icon transformed into modern masterpieces of art.

Diane Owens will provide special music chosen to support meaningful reflection and to give voice to inspirations found in the massive, luminous panels that will be suspended from the lofty ceiling of the sanctuary. Attendees will be engulfed by the visual masterpieces and aural soundscape created for the opening event.
