Every day is a voice day…
for work and for art,
for speaking, singing
and being heard.

On April 16, we listen wider: to the bright, the fragile, the fierce, the different
a chorus of colours crossing oceans,
each voice carrying a world.

We tend them like living instruments:
kept supple, not strained,
used with care, not worn thin.

We speak to connect, not to divide,
to reach, not to drown out
and we remember, with quiet gratitude,
that our voices can also be our votes.

World Voice Day Celebration – Tuzla 2026
​This event, organized by the University Clinical Center Tuzla in collaboration with the Medical Faculty and professional associations, features a comprehensive three-part program:
​1. Academic & Rehabilitative Session (11:00 AM) Held at the Amphitheater of the Clinic for Internal Diseases, this session includes:
​Expert Lectures: Focused on early detection of hoarseness and the clinical importance of vocal health.
​Practical Care: A specialized presentation titled “Mirror of the Soul: Practical Care and Health of the Human Voice.”
​Patient Choir: A unique performance by the Choir of Laryngectomized Patients, highlighting successful vocal rehabilitation.
​2. Preventive Screenings (11:00 AM – 1:00 PM) The Clinic for Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) will provide open access for preventive medical check-ups, encouraging citizens to take proactive steps in monitoring their vocal cord health.
​3. Public Outreach & Education (12:30 PM – 2:00 PM) Located at the main square (Trg Slobode), experts will provide direct consultations and educational materials to the public, focusing on daily voice hygiene and prevention techniques.
