EVERY DAY A VOICE (Phyland, 2026)
Every day is a voice day…
for work and for art,
for speaking, singing
and being heard.

On April 16, we listen wider: to the bright, the fragile, the fierce, the different
a chorus of colours crossing oceans,
each voice carrying a world.

We tend them like living instruments:
kept supple, not strained,
used with care, not worn thin.

We speak to connect, not to divide,
to reach, not to drown out
and we remember, with quiet gratitude,
that our voices can also be our votes.

Details of your World Voice Day Event

April 16th every year is World Voice Day, a global health awareness day dedicated to celebrating the human voice as a vital communication tool and raising public awareness of voice health issues. The voice is the most critical medium for daily human communication, and it is particularly important for professional voice users such as teachers, singers, broadcasters, and sales personnel.
To popularize knowledge on voice health care, the Department of Otolaryngology of our hospital specially held this free clinic activity. Open to the general public and professional voice users, the activity provided free voice health consultation, preliminary screening and health guidance services.
The activity site was lively and attracted a large number of citizens, fully reflecting the public’s attention and demand for voice health issues. A total of more than 50 people received consultation and treatment during this free clinic, and professional guidance was provided to many patients with voice problems. Through on-site screening, a number of patients with voice disorders requiring further diagnosis and treatment were identified, including vocal polyps, chronic laryngitis, vocal nodules, etc., and timely referral suggestions were given.
We also popularized correct voice production methods, daily voice protection skills and the harms of bad voice use habits to the participants, and distributed voice health publicity materials. Special attention was paid to the voice health status of professional voice users such as teachers, customer service staff and sales personnel during the free clinic, and targeted prevention suggestions were provided for them.
