EVERY DAY A VOICE (Phyland, 2026)
Every day is a voice day…
for work and for art,
for speaking, singing
and being heard.

On April 16, we listen wider: to the bright, the fragile, the fierce, the different
a chorus of colours crossing oceans,
each voice carrying a world.

We tend them like living instruments:
kept supple, not strained,
used with care, not worn thin.

We speak to connect, not to divide,
to reach, not to drown out
and we remember, with quiet gratitude,
that our voices can also be our votes.

Details of your World Voice Day Event

A voice awareness session was conducted for over 100 dubbing artists from the South Indian film and television industry by a team comprising a Laryngologist and a Speech Pathologist. The session focused on key aspects of voice production, addressed common myths and facts related to voice health, and highlighted essential do’s and don’ts for maintaining good vocal hygiene.
Participants were also introduced to practical vocal warm-up techniques to support optimal voice use. The session was well received, with active participation and engagement throughout. Many attendees raised questions about their vocal practices and voice health, leading to meaningful discussions and clarification of concerns.
