The Otolaryngological Society of the Republic of China was officially established on November 14, 1965. In 2018, the Society officially changed its name to the “Taiwan Society of Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery (TSOHNS).” Recognized by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, TSOHNS is a professional medical association with over 3,000 members across Taiwan.
The current President, Professor Pei-Jen Lou, Vice Superintendent of National Taiwan University Hospital, has been leading the Society's remarkable growth. On April 12, 2025, following the Board Member Meeting in the afternoon, a Gala Dinner was held at the Fleur De Chine Hotel. During the dinner, Professor Lou led a Karaoke Rally where all attendees sang together, joyfully celebrating the 60th Anniversary of the Taiwan ENT Society and the upcoming World Voice Day on April 16, 2025.
