The meeting of the laryngectomee association (S-LET) took place at the ENT department of the FNHK on 14. 4. 2025. After the introduction of prof. Chroboka, Assoc. prof. Koblížek from the Pulmonary Clinic informed the members about respiratory rehabilitation and exercises to strengthen the lungs. Dr. Dršata then repeated the possibilities of substitute voice rehabilitation after total laryngectomy, and prof. Chrobok informed the participants about the results of treatment of laryngeal carcinoma in the Czech Republic. The report on the activities was presented by Mgr. Kocábková and K. Tejkl. Drugs for regulating mucus production and products for laryngectomees were also presented, and in a live discussion, over 30 participants exchanged practical advice and tips for life after laryngectomy.
