A collaborative effort by the University of Cincinnati Professional Voice Center and Miami University's Departments of Music and Speech Pathology and Audiology - World Voice Day 2026, #RestYourVoice, will feature performances by Miami University's Men's Glee Club, Choraliers, and vocal performance students. A series of talks will include voice science, the source of sound (live stroboscopic demonstration), perspectives of the laryngologist, vocal pedagogue, and certified athletic trainer on recommendations for the elite athlete and professional voice user regarding load, injury, rest and recovery, sleep and mental health. A panel of experts will field questions regarding rest, cycles of training, and nutrition for the elite athlete and vocal athlete.
