Details of your World Voice Day Event

On World Voice Day (April 16), our WeChat official account published a popular science article. Through professional interpretation by Professor Liang Faya from Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, it pointed out five common habits that damage the voice: excessive voice use, frequent throat clearing, unhealthy diet and irregular routines, tobacco and alcohol stimulation, and ignoring hydration as well as dry environments.
It elaborated on the harmful mechanisms of each habit and provided targeted voice care suggestions, such as using the voice properly, adjusting diet and routines, quitting smoking and limiting alcohol, and drinking enough water. It also reminded readers to seek a laryngoscopy in time if symptoms such as persistent hoarseness occur.
The core purpose is to popularize voice protection knowledge to the public and guide everyone to take good care of their vocal cords.
