World Voice Day is celebrated internationally on April 16. This annual event highlights the importance of voice in people’s daily lives. Presented by the University of Cincinnati Professional Voice Center and Miami University's Departments of Music and Speech Pathology and Audiology. Our event will have two sessions, 1-3 pm and 4-6 pm. The event will highlight solo artists and performances by Miami University's Chamber Singers, Choraliers, and Men's Glee Club. Presentations will include the latest in laryngeal biomechanics, aerodynamics, vocal health and hygiene, myths related to performance voice, and community resources in voice care.
