VOCALID supplies voices to those who have lost the ability to\u00a0speak or are unintelligible to the average listener. The drive helps\u00a0VOCALID build their “voice bank”. Volunteers donate their voices\u00a0by recording common phrases and expressions and these voices\u00a0are banked becoming available to clients. If the client is able to\u00a0produce any sound, their phonations are mixed in with the\u00a0selected voice allowing them to keep their individuality.<\/p>\n
